Isolator v1.0

Isolator is the fastest way to temporary isolate layers in your composition. You can isolate selected layers by a single click, or even group layers in memory so you can isolate them at any time instantly. No more scrolling through the timeline or disabling and shying layers.

Isolate Selected Layers:

• Select the layers you want to isolate and click the "Isolate" button. This will hide all other layers from the timeline panel.
• To undo the isolation, click "Restore" at any time.
• Select the "Disable" checkbox, so that the hidden layers will also be disabled.
• Select the "Lock" checkbox, so that the hidden layers will also be locked.

Isolation Groups:

• Select the layers you want to group and right click on one of the five groups (buttons 1,2,3,4,5). Name the group you created.
• Click the group button to isolate all the layers inside that group at any time.
• To undo the isolation, click "Restore".
• Every time you click a group button to isolate it, the previous isolation is automatically restored.

Bonus Features:

• You will not lose your Layer Groups if you restart the script or AE. The script remembers them.
• You can restore the hidden layers at any time, even if you have restarted After Effects.
• Very compact UI with explanation if you hover over any element of the script.
